Título: Fed sees slower US growth signs

Mais um texto sobre o Federal Reserve, o Fed.

É interessante textos econômicos porque são os que mais caem em concursos da área fiscal.

É bom estar atento quanto as palavras: growth, inflation, interest rates.

Fed sees slower US growth signs

The US economy has shown signs of slowing since the start of June and inflation has been modest, the Federal Reserve said in its Beige Book survey.

Among the districts reporting a dip in growth were San Francisco, the largest of the 12, and Chicago and Dallas.

At the same time, the economic conditions have made it difficult for companies to pass on higher costs to consumers, the Fed explained.

The report may strengthen arguments for the Fed to stop raising interest rates.
